THE WATCHMEN SHALL PREVAIL

Watchmen is a Hebrew word meaning sentinel or guard. One whose job is to guard and keep watch.

A word to all our watchmen - men and women who protect our cites and our nations. Thank you for all you do to protect our land. Without your brave, valiant efforts, where would we all be? Do you make mistakes….sure, we all do. Sadly, our society wants to crucify the ones who protect us, but no more. No more shall we call what is evil good and what is good evil. And no more shall we treat poorly those who face evil everyday and lay down their lives for the people. By God’s mighty hand you shall be lifted up…..here and in heaven. And by the power of His Holy Spirit, you shall prevail against the darkness and be mighty in the land. For those who strive against you, God will strive against.

FIGHTING PRINCIPALITIES OF DARKNESS

The battle you fight every day is with principalities of darkness, but to conquer that evil, the darkness must FIRST be conquered in you. Otherwise, as the verse says, you will watch in vain and your efforts will be worthless in overcoming the evil in the land. If you can’t overcome the sin in your own heart by the righteousness of Jesus, then how will you overcome the sin in the land?

YOUR OWN HEARTS

You fight hard to defeat the lawlessness in the land, but why do you not fight hard to defeat the lawlessness in your own heart?

You fight hard to defend and protect the nation and our freedoms, but why do you not fight hard to guard and protect your own heart from the enemy of darkness?

In the eyes of God you stand just as much as a “law breaker” as the ones you put behind bars.

Just as a parent, preacher, teacher or a follower of Christ, if we are going to be “shepherds” of righteousness, then Christ’s righteousness must FIRST reign in our own hearts. We are held more accountable if we know the truth, but do not follow the truth.

I am sorry to be so blunt, but just know that these are the same words God has had to say to me over and over, “Beth, if you are called to bring healing, to teach and instruct, then you shall know what it means to be healed, taught and instructed through fire, refinement, correction and discipline. Listen, if we do not have repentance for our own sin, how then can we stand before a sinner who does not know Christ, or even a prodigal lost in their own sin? The Accuser will deem us useless, powerless and self-righteous. In the eyes of God, we are just as guilty as they. We have no power to prevail over the enemy, when sin is prevailing in our own heart. If God is not the Watchman of our hearts, then how can He be the Watchman of our cities? How can we take on a Wolf when we have become like the Wolf.

Repent! Bring God back into your heart, bring Him back into your homes, police buildings, cars, meetings and academies. Purify your hearts, take communion each day, speak His Word of protection, favor and grace. Lay hands on your buildings and walk the grounds speaking the Word. Pray with each other daily, lay hands on one another, lay hands on the police cars and motorcycles, and lay hands on the weapons.

Speak the Word of God as you come and go and over your work and lives.

From the purity of your hearts and through speaking God’s Word, HE will go on your behalf and defeat the enemy. Revival must come to the hearts of our officers and the departments for healing to begin in this amazing profession. You are a gift to the people.

Cry out for the LORD God Almighty to first judge your heart and second ask Him to judge your enemies. Just like David in the Bible – he had a pure heart and spoke God’s curses on his enemies and all of his enemies fell before him. When the Fear of God is in you, then the Spirit of God will go before you and conquer the wicked.

“I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and did not turn back till they were consumed. I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise; they fell under my feet. For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me. You made my enemies turn their backs to me, and those who hated me I destroyed. They cried for help, but there was none to save; they cried to the LORD, but he did not answer them. I beat them fine as dust before the wind; I cast them out like the mire of the streets.”

Psalms 18:37-42

JESUS

Jesus is the hope of our cities! He has overcome the darkness and His blood covers the land and NO ONE can prevail over Him, for He reigns. He came to defeat the works of the devil.

The Sword comes out of His mouth with which to strike His enemies. Praise Him, sing for joy! For Jesus is clothed with power and strength. When the Lion of Judah goes forth before us, He sends our enemies into confusion and scatters them. He will wipe them out, yes He will wipe them out.

But the LORD has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. He will bring back on them their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the LORD our God will wipe them out.

Psalms 94:22-23

SPEAK THE WORD

You swing a “man-made” sword as a weapon, but are you swinging the spiritual sword for yourself, your family, the city, the nation, the world and the wicked? Speak His Word, for it is Jesus. You are then declaring Jesus over the land and over yourself.

Victory is yours, because God’s Word cannot return to Him unfulfilled.

PROTECTION

Remember, as a meek follower of Jesus Christ, with your hearts laid bare before your Teacher, then through His Blood, His Word, His Name and His Presence, you have full protection as the Word says.

The LORD will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Psalm 121:7, 8

The enemy has NO PROTECTION….don’t forget this! They are a sitting duck. They THINK they are protected, but you are protected by the Almighty! Who can stand against the Almighty God in the day of His wrath?

Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.

Numbers 14:9

AUTHORITY

Walk the length and the breath of your land (home, work, city, borders and nation). Declare it conquered by the Blood of Jesus and speak His Word. Let the enemy hear you shout victory in Jesus Name. For you have full authority over the dragon, by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. For the righteous shall inherit the land, but the wicked shall not remain.

Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices. They shout joyfully together, for they will see with their own eyes when the LORD restores Zion.
