The Finished Work
THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST

Surely he took up our infirmities and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5

It is quite simple, Jesus’ body was beaten, His blood shed on a cross, He rose again, sat down at the right hand of the Father and the Holy Spirit was sent to be with us. This is the finished work of Christ. The Father commissioned this work so that we would be restored back to Him as He originally intended.
Jesus did everything required to restore man back to health, provision, peace, unity, sanity, wisdom, knowledge, morality, and authority. What more do we expect Him to do? He has done it all. Now, it is our job to believe it and believe His word.
Why do we cry out for Jesus to heal us and provide for us….when He already did. He did all the work required of the Father for us to be redeemed. But the problem is we don’t believe what He has already done for us. We want Jesus to take responsibility again for our healing and providing. We don’t want to take responsibility for our unbelief. He wants us to BELIEVE what He did for us, BELIEVE His Word and take responsibility of our unbelief.
That is the reason we take communion so we will REMEMBER and BELIEVE that it is by His stripes we are healed, it is by His blood we are righteous, it is by His presence we are provided for.
If someone voluntarily cleaned your house because they deeply loved you, but you were not home to see it happen, you would have to BELIEVE their word and what they did for you. Why would you keep asking them to clean your house when they already finished the work? If you have to keep asking them to do the work, it’s because you don’t believe them.
We are asking Jesus to do work that He has already done. Now, it is our job to believe. That is faith. Faith in the finished work and what his Word says. He fulfilled every word, sentence and passage in the Bible, for He is the Word of God. He bore the wounds needed for our healing, He nailed every sin to the cross and died so that He could dwell with His children. He also became the covenant that was promised to Abraham. Jesus has become our inheritance.
Now it is our responsibility to believe all of this by faith like Abraham.
If He did the work, then let us thank Him and praise Him for all He has done for us to be restored. Hallelujah!

The Will

In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. Hebrews 9:16

Jesus fulfilled the Will of the Father. Will in Greek means desires or wishes, just like an actual will.
In Hebrew, it means word. So Jesus fulfilled the Word of the father, which is His will.
In this section, I am not referring to God’s Will meaning direction, but inheritance (blessings), an actual Will.
The Word of God is His Will to His children. Like a Will given from a father to his children upon his death. And God’s Will was granted to each of His children by Jesus’ death, His Blood was the guarantee.
Just like in the physical, a Will (a promise, contract) cannot be granted until the one granting it has died.
Blood is the requirement for that Will to be activated.
So every promise in the Word of God is God’s written Will, our inheritance, and that Will was given to believers upon Jesus’ death. That means, every blessing is ours TODAY, because Jesus fulfilled every word with His Blood and finished His work. He is the Will of God!!
So if we want to know the Will of God then read the Will of God. How does anyone know what they are getting if they don’t read the Will of the one who made it? Believe His Word and receive EVERY blessing promised in the Father’s Will. Sometimes, we can’t see the inheritance, but only lack, disease and enemies. But that is why we believe His Word, the Will, confess it and receive it by faith.
Let’s say a poor man was notified that he was the recipient of his uncle’s Will. At that moment, the only proof he had in his possession was a tangible document. The physical blessings had not been manifested yet. Therefore, he had a choice, “Do I believe this Will or not?’
If he believes this Will, he will act according to his faith in the document and receive his blessings. If he doesn’t believe, he will reject the Will and do nothing and, therefore, fail to receive his inheritance.
As they say in Thailand, same same.

So this is what the Will of the Father and the Word of God gives us today AND in heaven. This is our inheritance… believe it, act upon it, thank Jesus for it, thank the Father and shout, “IT’S MINE, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR GVING ME ALL OF THIS!! AND I WILL BLESS YOU, MY KING WITH ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME.”

However, it is ONLY BY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT WE SHALL NOT DEFILE THIS INHERITANCE.
The Israelites defiled their inheritance with their sin and lost the blessing.

I, too, have received blessings from His inheritance, but I defiled them and they vanished.
This is our inheritance today on earth AND in heaven. Thank Him, rejoice in Him for giving all of this to us. It is grace, His unmerited favor. REPENT of the unbelief, REPENT of sin and RECEIVE BY FAITH this beautiful Will given to His children from the Father, through Jesus Christ.
For Jesus is our inheritance!!
