The Harvest
REVIVAL
The revival that many are praying for, can only begin with a revival of our own heart.
It costs us nothing to pray for revival in others but costs us much if we are willing to go first.

Revivals FIRST start with each one of us AND THEN a harvest can be birthed to the world. Our own hearts purified with Jesus’ Holy fire and then the world’s heart pruned and cleansed with fire.
Remember, it is easier to pray for a revival in someone else’s heart...then to pray for a revival in my own heart.
I must go first!

YOU GO FIRST
Bring revival oh LORD, but Jesus said to me...you go first!
After the healing in my marriage and with our Pastor and his wife, my heart had been transformed.
Our church needed volunteers to help lift the janitor’s burden of cleaning the sanctuary every week.  So as a homeschool project, my girls and I volunteered. Each week, we would pick up trash, communion cups and replace tissue boxes and Bibles.  Jesus laid on my heart for us to begin praying over each seat as we walked through the aisles. I would also pray over the altar for revival.  Many weeks I prayed, “LORD, move people from their seats to come to the altar for a revival of their hearts.
One day as I was praying that prayer, Jesus said to me, “You first Beth!”
“What?”
“Yes,YOU first.”
‘NOOOOO!”
“See how  easy  it is  for you to pray for someone else to sacrificially come out of their seat  and come to the altar.  It costs you nothing Beth to pray for others to come.  What have you sacrificed?
That’s why I am telling you...YOU go first....every Sunday to the altar.
Revival that spreads to others must first begin with a revival of your own heart.”
Ok, I know you are right....but I don’t want to.
What are people going to think? Ugh!

And so nearly every Sunday, after the service ended, I dragged my feet down to the altar to pray.  Keep in mind, I was not happy about this and completely humiliated.  I guess that is why He called it a sacrifice. I feared that people would think that I was  either  really screwed up  or  trying to act holy. Frequently, someone would ask, “Are you all  right, is something wrong, do you need prayer?” No  thank you, I am fine, yes I would welcome your prayer.”  What I really wanted to say was, “God is making me do this. I’m not here by my own free will.”
As months went by, my heart began to long for the altar and tears flowed as I was being cleansed, emptied, humbled  and refined with fire.  For a year and a half, my heart was truly going through a revival and what was birthed was the revelation of the power of God’s Word  and the finished work of Jesus Christ! HEALING!
The gospel of Jesus Christ had been  unveiled!
After I was released from the altar, I got very sick and God’s Word and Jesus’ wounds healed me. Revival was born in my heart.
REVELATION AND THE CHURCHES
In the beginning chapters of Revelation, Jesus is rebuking the churches to repentance. Then the harvest comes in chapter 14.
How can we expect the world to repent when the Bride is not willing? How can we expect the world to humble themselves at the altar of God, while we sit with dirty robes? The Bride must first wash her robes in order for the harvest to be birthed.
The fire must first take place in our own hearts and then the revival will come to the world.
SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
If you do not know Jesus Christ, you can be born-again, a new life, through the forgiveness of your sins when you repent and receive Jesus into your life. He washes all your sins away no matter how great they are. He casts your sins into the sea and remembered no more. That the Mighty God may dwell with you here on earth and you with Him in heaven. Come and receive Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
