Unspoken – The Cure

HEALING THROUG JESUS’ BROKEN BODY

Surely he took up our pain and bore our infirmities, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:4-5

Jesus took our pain, diseases and sicknesses on His beaten flesh so we would not have to bare them on our flesh.  Disease means dis-ease or a lack of peace.  Since He is our Prince of Peace then the beating of His flesh that He endured was to take our lack of peace and give us peace and restoration in return.  His body exchanged for ours.  His wounds for our wounds.  Sing for joy!

Some say, “Well, I am sick and I don’t see His healing so it must not be His will."

But Jesus says come to Me like little children who trustingly believe.

Children trust.  When a dad says to his kids, “I have made reservations and we are going to Disneyland." The children believe and have faith in what that father DID and what he SAID, even though they have not yet seen or received the gift.  Adults do not easily trust.  An adult would say,“I won’t believe what you did or what you said until I see it.” That would be unbelief and God considers that unfaithfulness. Jesus desires, in the midst of our lack, weakness and sickness, to embrace His wounds with thanksgiving and believe, confess and proclaim His Word over our infirmity and our lack. The miracle will come.

May we BELIEVE what Jesus did for us and confess these truths with our mouths,

“Right now, my body is of sound flesh, strong and healthy, filled with peace and not disease, BECAUSE JESUS TOOK MY SICKNESS UPON HIS FLESH AND BY HIS WOUNDS I AM HEALED.  I thank you Jesus for your precious wounds and I praise you that I am healed by them today.  Because of you Jesus this is who I am - strong, healthy, full of life, made whole and of sound mind and strength.  No sickness can prevail or remain in my body, because you my precious redeemer bore my sickness.  You did this for me.  Thank you Jesus!"

Even with symptoms present, speak these this truths and believe like a child that you ARE healed not because of anything you have done, but because of what Jesus said and did.  The Word does not say you will be healed, it says by Jesus' stripes we ARE healed - present tense.  This is who you are today.  We are not waiting for Jesus to show up and remove your sickness - He already did.  And now He is desiring us a believers to believe it, receive it!   We believe and have faith in the grace (unmerited favor) of healing that He has freely has given to us.  You bore the curse of sickness.  This is what you did for me Jesus therefore this is who I am today.  This is grace

So shall it be.  Amen.

I highly recommend the book Healing The Sick by TL Osborne. Read it over and over as it will bless and nourish you with the truths of healing from God's word and Jesus' sacrifice.

THANKSGIVING

How life changing is this truth; that someone so lovingly took our sicknesses and diseases. May we never cease to praise Jesus for what He has done for us. Thankfulness continually on our lips for the healing He bought. A gift of healing we did not earn. This is grace.

He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me; and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.

Psalm 50:23

BELIEVE AND SPEAK THE WORD OVER YOUR INFIRMITIES

We are blessed, strengthened and healed as we believe and proclaim His Word over our flesh and our sickness. Fight through the infirmity with His Word. Jesus is the Word of God, He fulfilled the Word through His death and resurrection. When we proclaim and confess God’s Word, we are speaking Jesus over our bodies. And since He is the Word and He fulfilled it, everything that the Word says…we are! Hallelujah! So believe the Word you are speaking, believe that Jesus is the strength of your flesh, believe what He did for you and shout it out!! That is faith.

Do not let the Word of God cease from your mouth. Speak it day and night. This was the word that God instructed Joshua before taking possession of the promised land.

The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

Jesus thank you that you are the strength of my brain, the strength of my joints, tissues and ligaments. Thank you that you are my energy and the wholeness of my teeth and the health of my organs It’s so beautiful!!

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11

Thank you Jesus that my body is like that of a well-watered garden from the Living Water continually pouring over me bringing health, nutrients and everything my body needs for life.

I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Ephesians 6:10

As Jesus is, so am I, by the power of His Holy Spirit. Thank you!

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead, lives in me and brings life to my mortal body.

Romans 8:11

The Holy Spirit is in our bodies bringing restoration, healing and life. Well, why don’t we see healing then? Because we must believe He is in our mortal bodies, giving us life, strength and immunity.

The Holy Spirit lives in me, because of what Jesus did. Thank you God. And the power that brought life to Jesus’ body brings life to my body. Thank you for this grace

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

SEEK GOD’S WISDOM

God also desires His people to cry out for His wisdom for healing. It is essential! We need His wisdom to understand how we got into this pit, how to get out and how to never return. We don’t know how to heal our bodies and frankly no one else does either. But Jesus does. He knows the root of the sickness and how to pluck it out of our body. His wisdom is supreme for health and healing. So when you pray for healing, cry out for both, the wisdom of God and the power of God.

DO NOT BE WISE IN YOUR OWN EYES

It took me 10 painful years for me to understand this. God had to beat me over the head I was so fearful and stubborn. I ran around like crazy person looking for answers, when the whole time, the answer was right in front of my nose. I could not see it, because MY wisdom was blocking my vision. Wise in our own eyes leads us to figure things out, search, trust in idols for healing, and run to and fro to the next best thing or doctor. Instead, we are to wait quietly on the LORD, pray, fast, seek HIS wisdom, His Word. And then He brings everything we need for healing whether through His wisdom, His power or both.

Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Proverbs 3:7-8

FEAR

Fear makes us crazy. Fear drives us away from wisdom and the fear of the LORD. Infirmities create a lot of fear. And Jesus knows this. That’s why

He desires us to speak His Word when we are afraid and agree with what His Word says, rather than agree with the voice of the infirmity. This is super important to understand. His Word, His Body, His Name, His Blood and His Presence silences ALL voices and reigns over all disease or sickness. This is what we must proclaim in the midst of fear. For Jesus reigns over ALL infirmities and makes us whole and protected.

EYES FOCUSED

Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

Hebrews 12:2a

In the midst of the infirmity may we keep our eyes firmly focused on Jesus’ stripes and not ours. Our eyes looking straight ahead at His face and on His Word. Disease and sickness want us to look at them. Their voices speak loud, “See me, feel me, talk about me and pay attention to me. Notice how I am wrecking havoc in your life. Look at the bills, look at all you can’t do. Feel the pain. I will paralyze you with fear.”

But Jesus says, “Look at Me, look at my wounds that bring healing, pay attention to my Presence, feel my peace, see my provision and the power of my spoken Word for I have restored you with my stripes. See my healthy body, for as I am, so are you in this world.”

Remember, it is not our job to figure out our healing or how it will come. Our job is to keep our eyes on Jesus and His Word.

PURIFY YOUR HEART

Which is more important - the health of the heart or the health of the body?

It is amazing the ill-health that is produced from at heart plagued with anger, hatred, violence, deceit, pride, argumentativeness, criticalness, condemnation, lust, and un-forgiveness. That is why infirmities are called dis-ease. The health of the heart has everything to do with our physical health. They are connected. I had a heart full of criticalness, condemnation, resentment and un-forgiveness towards certain people and it fed the weakness that was already in my body. I got really sick. As the LORD showed me the sin that was in my heart, and I repented, my healing began to come forth in ways I would not have ever imagined. We don’t know if sin is connected to our infirmities, only God knows that, but it is wise if we ask Him to show us the condition of our hearts in the midst of our sicknesses and diseases. Lest our hearts deceive us.

“Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a person can defile

them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”

“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

Mark 7:14-15, 18-23

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17

COMMUNION

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you.

Luke 22:19

He asked us to take communion so we would never forget that it is by His broken body we are healed.

It is not by our efforts we are healed, but only His.

In communion, the bread is broken to represent Jesus’ broken body. His body broken to heal our broken bodies. Our sicknesses and diseases have been paid for and laid upon His flesh.

May we thank Jesus and praise His Name for breaking His flesh in exchange for ours.

Every wound, every stripe, every scar, and every marred part of His flesh was put their by His choice, so that we would not have to bare our wounds, stripes, scars or deformity. He said, ‘I’ll bare all your infirmities so that you don’t have to.’

Take communion every day for pain, sickness and disease. Eat the lamb of God for strength and healing for every weak area of the body. And healing shall come. After the Israelites ate the lamb, there was not one feeble person amount them as they exited out of Egypt.

However, when we take communion in disbelief of His flesh broken for our flesh, His blood shed so that we could be righteous before God, then we eat and drink judgement upon ourselves.

Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

I Corinthians 11:28-30

I am going to say this gently. Eating the gluten free communion cracker out of fear of sickness defeats the purpose of communion. How can we proclaim Jesus’ body broken for our healing and then eat the bread out of fear that it will make us sick.

Because HE bore that allergy, HE bore that intolerance, He makes that bread clean and consecrated by His Word. Fear is the issue here, not the source of “bread.” Now if someone has a life threatening allergy to wheat or gluten that is a different story. In non-life threatening allergies, I do believe we can still eat the gluten free cracker in faith and proclaim the Word that Jesus has healed my body by His wounds.

“LORD I have a sensitivity to wheat and especially the United States wheat…I am still going to eat this gluten free cracker in faith and thankfulness that by your stripes I am healed. And one day I will not have to eat this gluten free cracker because your body has healed me.”

Or “I am going to eat this gluten filled bread in faith that this wheat will not harm me and I am healed by your stripes, thank you Jesus for your broken body.”

Either prayer has removed fear from communion. Communion is about thankfulness for His blood and His body paid for for our righteousness and our physical healing. When fear has been allowed to enter this Holy space..be discerning as the Word says.

For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.

1 Corinthians 11:29-31

SEEK THE LORD FIRST AND NOT THE IDOLS

Eve trusted in the apple rather than the the Word of God. I trusted in the idols to heal the infirmity until I gave up and trusted God’s Word and found the answer right in front me.

Our infirmities drive us to search for answers and help. Jesus, the Great Physician stands by patiently, waiting for us to stop searching for the idols, and instead seek HIS help, His answers, HIS wisdom.

In the 39th year of his reign, King Asa was afflicted with a disease in his feet. Though his disease was severe, even in his illness he did not seek help from the Lord, but only from the physicians.

2 Chronicles 16:12

LAY HANDS ON THE SICK

Those that believe, we are commissioned to lays hands on the sick. That means the Bride of Christ. Just because we don’t see the miracle of our prayers immediately or days after, does not mean that we have failed or the commission is null and void. LAYS HANDS ON THE SICK AND BELIEVE THAT JESUS TOOK THEIR INFIRMITIES ON HIS BODY. Keep doing this until His glory descends. Remain faithful to the commission regardless of what is seen. Don’t loose heart or be discouraged. We have been given authority to lay hands on the sick, just like the disciples and the principalities of darkness will bow to the Name of Jesus whom we proclaim.

Again, when praying for the sick, only look at Jesus, not the infirmity. The infirmity wants to make us cower in fear and back off. But Jesus’ Name, His face and His wounds make us bold as a lion.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

Mark 16:16-18
