Selah – How Deep The Father’s Love For Us

My dad used to tell me often, “Bethy, Jesus is the answer.” What? What does that mean?”
And off I would go, burdened by another mountain of problems.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life.

Do you want to know the right way to go? Do you want to be set free? Do you want to have life and healing breathed into each and every burden. Jesus is the answer!

JESUS THE HEALER
“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
The moment our son died, a bright morning star in the east shown directly in the middle of his hospital window at 5:06 am. Three days later, I was awoken at 5:06 am to the same bright morning star shinning directly in the middle of my bedroom window.
God spoke, “Your son is gone, but I am giving you Jesus – The Bright Morning Star, The Prince of Peace.
And where your son once stood, Jesus will now stand in his place. He will fill the hole in your heart.
And whenever you see that bright morning star, you will be reminded, “I am with you, my peace I give.”

To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give him the morning star.
Revelation 2:26 and 28

The broom of destruction swept through my life and it is difficult to write these words without tears of gratefulness for all that Jesus has saved me from since that death….forgiveness, wisdom, deliverance and healing.
I had a conversation with an atheist one evening. He had a stern face with eyes cold as steal, which intimidated me. In the midst of him aggressively telling me all of his reasons why he did not believe in a God, I prayed, “Lord, how do I rebuttal this man? I am frightened. I have studied your Word, but I am not knowledgable nor eloquent enough to present the biblical truth.”
Jesus said to me,” Do not argue with this man and keep your mouth shut. Listen to him, listen to his heart and speak only when I tell you.” Yes Lord.
Thirty minutes later, he was finished.
Jesus said, “It is time to speak! Tell him your testimony of Me and what I have done for you. You are the living testimony of the one true God. No one can steal that from you, nor refute.”
I said to this man, “I was a very broken mother, grieving for her first born son, whose life had recently been unjustly taken. The child I once held was no more.
And this is what God has done for me.”
I shared with him how I saw God’s mighty arm pull me from the depths of my sorrow, despair and hopelessness. He forgave me of my sin. Healing and transformation of my life came through this amazing God. How can a grieving mother contemplating suicide have complete unexplainable, unwavering peace one year later after a horrible death?
I saw God’s face. He gave me grace.
The hole in my heart was filled with Jesus – the Bright Morning Star.
It was miraculous! This man’s eyes turned soft, his face compassionate, listening intently to every word I spoke. There was not one hint of argumentativeness in his heart. He was silent!
His countenance transforming before my very eyes.
Upon finishing, God spoke to me, “This man will never be the same as he will never forget your story.” My testimony of a mighty God makes me a living proof that He exists, I am proof that He heals, I am proof that He saves and no one can ever take that away or refute me.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

THE TEACHER
Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
Jesus the Teacher counsels with accurate precision, disciplines to make disciples, fills the heart with wisdom, so that our ears will hear a voice behind us saying this is the way walk in it. To be meek is to be teachable. Therefore, ask the Teacher to teach your heart, so that He may reveal what lies deep within. Nothing more beautiful than a meek, humble heart filled with wisdom, who hears the Teacher’s voice…repent and be healed. His sheep hear my voice and follow. How do we know Jesus’ voice? By reading the Word of God for Jesus IS the Word.
My Sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
John 10:27
THE POWER AND THE WISDOM OF GOD
Jesus says, “For I am the wisdom and the power of God. Through me comes healing through my wisdom and healing from my power. I heal both ways, but you only want half of me. You want me to take full responsibility in healing you, but you do not want to take responsibility for the sin in your own heart. You cry out for my power to heal you, but you do not cry out for my wisdom. My earthy ministry was both – the power AND the wisdom of God.” You want healing, then cry out for all of me.”

But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1Corinthians
Proverbs chapters 1-8

THE WORD
Jesus says, “I AM the Word of God…every dot, every letter, word, and sentence. My name is The Word of God and I have a double edged sword coming out of my mouth. The Word shall never pass away for I AM eternal. To doubt my Word is to judge it. To judge my Word is to judge me – Jesus Christ, the Beginning and the End. Who are you oh mere man that you judge me the Almighty. I AM wisdom, The Word that created everything you see in six days. My sabbath is a sign that I created the
heavens and the earth in six days. Be warned, he who spreads doctrines of demons and causes my little ones to sin. Repent or I will come and war with you with the sword of my mouth.
The fear of me is not in you, but it will be.
For I AM the Bread of Life and man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. I AM the Rod of Iron, the Sword that breaks the nations to pieces. For I AM The Word of God.
Genesis - Revelation

HIS FINISHED WORK
Jesus finished the work of the Father.
He took every sin, curse, debt, lack, weakness and infirmity upon His beaten body, and nailed it to the cross.
He did everything required to take all the curses for us. That is why He said, "It is finished”.
And as a result, we are blessed with life, strength, peace, restoration, redemption, provision, and protection when we believe in Jesus and His Word.

HIS BLOOD
There is only one way to heaven and that is by Jesus’ blood.
He is the gate.
No one can come to the Father in heaven, but through Jesus, because His blood cancels our sins and washes us clean so we can stand in God’s presence. Sin can’t stand in the presence of God. So unless we have been washed in Jesus’ blood, we ain’t getting in!
NOTHING and NO ONE can forgive the sin except His blood…no black box, murderous act, priest, ritual, idol or good works. These forms of payments are not excepted in God’s eyes. Just like foreign currency is not accepted to pay bills in America. When sin entered the world there was only one form of payment for man’s sin and that was either our blood or the Blood of a Lamb. Something had to die cancel sin, because sin is death. If we do not accept the Lamb and fail to wash our sins in His blood, then death remains over us and something has to die.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Hebrews 9:22

But Jesus died and paid for all of man’s sins so that we would have eternal life. It is a free gift to us given by Jesus our Savior who loves us beyond measure.
Jesus’ blood makes us righteous, holy and sanctified. Without His blood we are nothing. For He is righteousness.

HIS BODY
There is one way to healing and that is by Jesus’ broken body.
He is the healer, the Great Physician.
For His body was beaten and mutilated beyond humans recognition for our sicknesses and diseases. He bore them all upon His wounded flesh, so we would not be wounded.

Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5 ESV

LION AND THE LAMB
“I am a two sided coin, the Lion and the Lamb, judgment and grace. The Lamb – the forgiveness of sins and the Lion who judges the hearts of man. But you only want half of me. You want forgiveness, but you do not want to be judged or disciplined. The first time I came as a Lamb, the second time I come, will be as a Lion. If you refuse the Lamb, then I have to be the Lion on this earth, lest you perish and live eternally apart from me. Both are love. I love you too much to be apart from you. I discipline those that I love, so I judge your heart. Do not be afraid. I would rather judge you here then eternally. When you repent of your sins, you will find the Lamb – full of mercy, forgiveness and grace, if you do not repent, I will become the Lion to you. It is your choice.
Ask me to judge you lest you be condemned with the world. To judge is to discipline.
I make disciples by judging their hearts, so I must discipline and correct that you may find the path of righteousness, wisdom and life. My disciples will cry out for all of me, both sides…. the Lion and the Lamb.
Interesting to note, the word judge in Hebrew has a deeper meaning - someone who guides and directs along the path.
Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.
Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.
Revelation 5:5, 6, 9-10
