“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-7, 9

PROSTRATING BEFORE GOD
If you are a homeschooler or a parent who sends their kids to school or college, this is what I would recommend. Be on your face before God everyday regarding their education. Parents who homeschool, you cannot do this enormous task on your own strength and wisdom. It is too big and you will find yourselves burnt out, frustrated, failing, and arguing with kids pushing back and unmotivated. Be on your face DAILY prostrated before God, praying for His wisdom, guidance, curriculum direction, the love of learning, joy, discernment, His Word and more of His Holy Spirit. You and your children will be anointed on this journey!
Parents who send their kids to private or public school/college, you may not have a huge task in educating your children, but praying for the fullness of God in their education through teachers and professors is vital. This is what you are prostrating for – wisdom, discernment, protection, truth, holiness, the Word of God prevailing, pure hearts, the love of learning and more of His Holy Spirit.
Praying for education will bring God back into our schools.

DOCTRINE OF DEMONS
Our educational system has taught a doctrine of demons. The blood of the children is on the heads of those who have led souls away from Christ and His Word. Repent and teach God’s truth, for the Judge is near. We should ask God, “LORD, have I led souls away from Jesus and His Word by teaching doctrines of demons? Show me JESUS!” Cry out for His wisdom.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
1 Timothy 4:1

WISDOM VERSES KNOWLEDGE
When I refer to knowledge, I am referring to man’s knowledge, not God’s knowledge.
School-aged children are tender little plants. Shepherding their hearts is most important and sadly in today’s world, teaching academics is more important than teaching them wisdom. Wisdom, however, is superior to man’s knowledge, but we don’t want it. We have been deceived in believing that knowledge is more valuable. But God said, “If you seek my wisdom, there you will find HIS knowledge and understanding.’” He made all this stuff and put the world together, so why don’t we seek the Creator and His Wisdom? Because wisdom comes through fire, testing, refinement, correction, rebuke, discipline and repentance and man’s knowledge comes through books and grades. Wisdom lasts eternally, but knowledge fades away. Wisdom gets them to heaven, knowledge does not. When we, as parents, stand before Christ, which one will you give an account for, knowledge or wisdom?
Teach your children wisdom from the Word of God. Read and re-read the book of Proverbs. Read a chapter a day, according to the day of the month. And parents, if you want your children to learn God’s wisdom, then you go first.

The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown. Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble. Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.
Proverbs 4:7-14
