Emanuel God With Us
Mercy Me – God With Us

Big Daddy Weave – Overwhelmed

All our healing has been given to us because He has been given to us.
God is with us and in Him there is no lack.
What an amazing gift the LORD has given. God dwells with us! The presence of the Almighty God lives in and through us and all around.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear him.
Psalm 34:7
I cannot even fully comprehend the magnitude of this gift.
The God who created everything we see, all heaven and earth dwells with you and me if we believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior.
His presence is glory, power, favor, peace, healing, miracles and joy in us.
Look to the LORD and His strength; continually seek him.
1 Chronicles 16:11
Did you know that whenever the words …”God was with them” is mentioned in the Bible, wonderous things happened. Favor was poured out, giants fell, armies were defeated, waters parted, sickness vanished, injured body parts made new and food multiplied.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.
2 Chronicles 20:17b
Emanuel God with us is the Holy Spirit. Because of that great presence, we have power, authority over Satan and we receive salvation and the Kingdom of God.
When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.
Psalm 104:30

Seek the LORD and his strength; seek His presence continually.
Psalm 105:4

Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with David but had departed from Saul.
1 Samuel 18:12

There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous.
Psalm 14:5

One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the LORD is with him.”
1 Samuel 16:13, 18
Well, if God is with me than why am I not seeing the wonders?
Because, we do not believe that the God of the universe is actually with us. Believing is a verb and action.
If He was with us face-to-face, we would have our faces to the ground in worship, unable to speak, and with a heart of repentance and thanksgiving. But because we can't see Him, we live our lives as though He is not present with us.
I have to stop and recognize that I am more aware of where my phone is, the needs of my children, the whereabouts of my animals, and the crazy schedule, than I am of the presence of God.
Believe Jesus is with you, act upon this truth that He is before, behind and through you.
Enemies will fall and power will be given to you.
He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. Psalm 91:15

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the gift of the Holy Spirit and its infilling power enables believers to multiply the works of the Father.
I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
John 14:12
God longed to dwell with man, but our sin separated us from His presence. So something had to die, blood had to be shed to cover the sins so that the Almighty, pure, blameless God could dwell with His creation. The blood makes us holy!
For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence. You hate all who do wrong.
Psalm 5:4, 5
Jesus’ blood was shed for us. Through His sacrifice, we are holy, righteous and His Holy Spirit can now dwell with us.
Holy Spirit
The evidence of His Spirit are the fruit of the Spirit, His power, His miracles and faith in the Word of God.
For example, let’s say you had a pitcher full of ice cubes and water. More ice cubes cause less room for the water and less to be poured out. It is the same with the Holy Spirit. The more we are filled with ourselves, the less room there is for the Holy Spirit in us. That is why we cry out for more of Jesus and more of His Holy Spirit.
All of Him and none of us.
Some say “well, how do we feel Him or hear Him? I posed this question to my children and this was their answer. Thankfulness and praise.
Thankfulness to Jesus for all that He did and had to endure in order for us to receive this amazing gift of Emmanuel – God with us.
And praise because the God Almighty, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is among us.
It was so simple, I nearly cried. Thankfulness and praise…so simple…like a child.
