In my childhood, I opened the door to witchcraft at my best friend’s house and it followed me home…in my heart. For the next 24 years, I engaged in thievery, lies, lust, pornography, rebellion, cold heartedness, sexual immorality, adultery, debauchery, apostasy, New Age, Reincarnation, psychics, channeling, meditation, alcohol abuse, watching horror movies, playing with a Ouija board and massive amounts of selfishness. It was all innocent fun, pleasure, entertainment and in the name of spiritually seeking "light, love, goodness and oneness with the universe." I got oneness alright, oneness with the devil!

When I played with the Ouija board with a friend, to our shock, the game spelled out, “DO NOT PLAY WITH THIS GAME.” Frightened, we stopped playing and I threw the game in the trash. God showed His protective hand of grace on me that night, but I still pursued rebellion and witchcraft thereafter. After a while, I began to experience lights, stereos, alarms and central vacuums turning on by themselves in many homes where I lived. In the home my husband and I built together, objects fell off the mantel and guests reported hearing voices in the middle of the night, but no one was home. One visitor told me she saw a small child standing in the upstairs room where she was sleeping, but I didn’t have any children that age, only a baby.

Eventually, great fear and anxiety gripped me and I did not want to be alone.

From the death of our son, I eventually repented of my sin of rebellion. However, I did not know the importance of naming each sin specifically, like the sin of witchcraft, nor did I know to clean my house out from these spirits which I had invited.

I invited witchcraft into my life through childish games of spirit hunting in the dark, movies, games, books, drawings, paintings, bookstores, choice of boyfriends, pushing lustful boundaries and all of the things I listed earlier.

The deceived church has embraced and welcomed witchcraft. We think this is innocent, harmless fun and entertainment, but it is no where near HARMLESS. That spirit of witchcraft deceives us so we are unable to clearly recognized it until one day it has our heart fully turned from God and blindly embracing the dragon and it's heads.

The curses of witchcraft are all of the sins imaginable. This spirit is broad with deep secrets and knows no boundaries. Some of the main curses of witchcraft are rebellion, sexual immorality, abortion, mutilation, division, addictions/drugs, sickness and death.

If we as parents have opened the door to witchcraft, then we will pass this spirit down to our children and to their children with all the curses to follow - just like a waterfall. We blame, criticize and judge our children for their bad behavior, but don't be fooled. Our un-repented sins will flow down to our children like a waterfall. God said in His Word that He would bless a thousand generations of those that fear Him, but would curse the next generations from whose PARENTS rebel against Him.

HOW TO CLEAN HOUSE

After I came back to Christ and repented of my apostasy, I did not realize how important it was to repent of each specific sin. Naming and repenting of each sin announces to the devil and to Jesus my Savior that I no longer make an agreement with this spirit nor do I desire to have this spirit in my life, my heart, my family or my home. When we do this, we are cutting off ties with these spirits (that we have made agreements with) through repentance and the Blood of Jesus and His forgiveness. Also, when repenting of the sin of witchcraft, name it, along with its curses. Below is a list of curses. Repent of the sins and curses you have passed down to your children. Confess them to a trusted individual. After naming and repenting, walk through your house anointing each door with olive oil in the shape of a cross and speak the Word of God over it, commanding and naming each spirit in the Name of Jesus to leave your house, your life, your work, your marriage, your spouse and your children. Speak the scripture that God gives you over each door. Before anointing each door, pray for the bible scripture or verse He wants spoken.

Then walk the length and breadth of your property and speak the Word of God over it, commanding and naming each spirit in the Name of Jesus to leave your property. Declare it all covered in the Blood of Jesus. Then encourage your family as the Holy Spirit leads to help them repent and clean out their heart as well. Lastly, with the help of Jesus, physically clean your house and property of anything associated with witchcraft such as entertainment, books, relics, wall hangings, drawings, pictures, etc. Ask the LORD to show you if there is anything He wants removed which is associated with witchcraft. You may need to pray and fast for discernment and courage. From time to time, spiritual and physical house cleaning may have to be done again as the LORD lays on your heart or if guests have entered your home - bringing who knows what with them.

Very important to remember, that once our hearts and our houses have been swept clean, the Holy Spirit and His Word must occupy that space. Otherwise, that spirit of witchcraft may come back and find the space clean and unoccupied and bring back with him more spirits far more evil then itself. SOMETHING WILL OCCUPY THAT SPACE – either the devil or Jesus. It is your choice.

And lastly, we should continue to faithfully ask Jesus to show us where we might have let any witchcraft into our hearts and our homes. Ask Him, “Where is the spirit of witchcraft or other sins that I cannot see and please be my ears and eyes to see this snake in the grass.”

If sin continues to creep in, do not cease to repent and declare the Blood of Jesus and His Righteousness over your heart and home. His Blood will prevail over the darkness and you will be victorious. Hallelujah!

After I repented of my sins and the sin of witchcraft and it’s curses, peace flooded my heart and my home. Healing and restoration began to flow through my life. Jesus is so merciful to forgive. His forgiveness is what births life, nor more death, nor more witchcraft, no more curses. We will reap what we have sown and God had to ask me what do you want - life or death, witchcraft or the light of Christ, destruction or healing?

We get to choose and we will reap what we have sown.

When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, “I will return to the house I left.” Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked that itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first.
