Intro

Healing of the body is the restoration of sickness and disease by the wisdom and the power of Jesus Christ. 

When our body is sick, it affects our spirit, our heart, mind and family.  The enemy knows this, so what better way to debilitate the people than with sickness.   

Healing for our bodies comes through both the wisdom and power of God, through His wisdom for nutrition, health care, roots of disease, prevention and His power for His miraculous healing.   

 

We also need God’s wisdom for our health because we may have body parts laden with sin which infect the rest of the body with sickness.   

As Jesus said in Mark 7, “It is not what goes into the stomach and out of the body which defiles the body, but what come out of the heart. 

 

The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. 

James 3:6 

  

Through health and sickness, Jesus longs to be our doctor, the Great Physician – the only one who can bring health and healing.  Seek Him first for He knows our bodies and the root of the problem.  He knows what we need for restoration, what to do or where to go.  May we not be wise in our own eyes, but wise in Jesus the Healer.  As you read through this section, pray for His wisdom.  He will lead and guide you along the path of healing. 

 

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers.
